When I open lightroom classic, to perform sorting tasks of the library (around 10,000 photos and videos). Without editing any photo, just viewing it in the library. After a few minutes the computer heats up to the point of firing the fans.
Other programs where I can view the same amount of images and videos hardly affect the temperature of the computer, but with Lightroom Classic, it always shoots up.
Any idea how I can improve this behavior? The biggest problem is that it drains the battery.

Could it be due to lack of SSD disk space? I currently have 120GB of 1TB free space available.

If that is where your catalog is, then LrC performance will suffer. What is that, 12.0% free? Looking for at least 20% some say 25% free
and see:

I agree with with @GoldingD , the lack of space on the drive is your issue.

So I managed to get 23% space free in the disk. Same issue. Lightroom overheats the M3 Max wich is ridiulous, because the same catalog on my Windows PC works perfectly.

But inspect the MACBooks air inlets for dust and debris
LrC is a resource hog, the MACBook could be getting pushed into heating issues. If those vents are restricted, then an overheat could occur.

Almost new Mac, so I don't think that's the problem. It's software 100%.

Fans don't turn on and the computer doesn't get hot unless the cooling system has failed somehow. Saying its a new Mac doesn't address the issues of cooling system failure, as hardware can fail on new computers too.

Davinci Resolve works nice, photoshop works nice, autoCAD works nice, etc. All under heavy work-load. It's just lightroom classic that overheats only browsing the library.
I don't think it's hardware, because all the other software works well.

Other software uses the CPU and GPU differently than LrC. LrC puts more stress on the hardware, causing heat to be generated, which the cooling system dissipates. This heat build-up that causes fans to turn on and computer to feel hot doesn't happen with a properly working cooling system.
I am sad to say this, but until you realize that your cooling system is malfunctioning and address that issue, you will not find a solution.
(Also, gazillions of other Mac users of LrC don't have this problem, their cooling system works properly)
