Not sure if this is a bug or how to report this to Adobe but Lightroom Classic on macbook is stuck synching some of my .psd files.  I can see the files on the lightroom for web.  I've tried rebuilding sync data but it still errors out on those same files.

Update, paused sync on classic then restarted it, now it is only stuck on 6 psd files.

I have rebuilt sync data 3 more times and its still stuck on those 6 photos

Any ideas?

Hi there,

Thanks for the details & the effort you have put in.

How large are the PSD files? Were they created using Photoshop v24?

Try this

  • Take these PSDs out of Lightroom completely as a test.
  • Import again & use Edit in PS command once one of the files & save it.
  • Wait for it to sync & repeat with others.

If this does not work, upload the PSD to Creative Cloud files (https://assets.adobe.com/files) and share it with us.

Let me know how that goes,

Thanks!

Sameer thank you.  I don't have time to do this today, i'm heading out on vacation in a few hours but will do this when i get back.

Just to add to this the photos were .nef files in LR mobile on iPad Pro that were "edit in photoshop" from the menu, then when done editing, sent them back to LR mobile on iPad.  That all worked fine.  Now with LR Classic when I try to sync with cloud, that is when i get the errors.

i'll troubleshoot more in a week.
