Hi - Lightroom Classic crashing on the library module after a few seconds to a few minutes use. Just installed v14.2 on Windows 11 hoping it would fix the same issue which was also affecting my previous install making it unusable. I've sent crash reports. Can anyone help?
On other occasions I get a blue screen & full PC restart

Blue screen and full PC restart is caused either by a bad driver, or by a hardware malfunction. First thing to do would be to update all of your drivers.

Sorry to hear you're facing this issue. Could you let us know when it started? Were there any recent changes made to your system—like OS updates, antivirus modifications, or the installation of new extensions or desktop management apps—after which the crashes began?
Also, please try disabling GPU performance in Lightroom Classic and see if that helps:
Let us know how it goes!
Regards,
Srishti

Thanks Shrishti - no recent changes to system. Last change was upgrading system RAM.
Problems started in version 13 (don't think this was at the same time as any system config changes), to the point I stopped using the application for quite a while.
Tried disabling GPU, still having problems.

We’ve reviewed the email address you use with this forum and found no crash reports in our system.
Did you see a crash dialog?
Do you use a different email address when filling out the crash report?
Was the crash dialog Adobe’s? Microsoft’s?

Thanks Rikk. Sometimes I get a crash dialogue (Adobe) - and I've realised I did use a different email address in the form for that. Can I message you direct to provide it?
On other occasions I get a blue screen & full PC restart, or the application crash closes with no crash dialogue.

Brilliant - thank you - all drivers up to date but found a hardware malfunction in RAM. Early days, but swapping out the faulty RAM seems to have solved the problem.
