Lightroom Classic will not launch - open in Task Manager but not on window, task bar, other monitor

Title says most of it. It runs in task manager but not icon appears in the toolbar (so it is not a window size issue). I have also tried deleted the lock files on my catalougue, uninstalling and reinstalling both the LrC app as well as the creative cloud app. Uninstall and reinstall LrC and also delete/reset preferences in the process. Have tried disabling my NVIDEA and just using the standard GPU to launch. Running most recent version of LrC and on Windows 11.

Anyone else have this issue?

Thanks!

Do you have do a clean reinstallation.

If no follow the steps below:

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 4 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

Another try is to create a new catalog. Press and hold the Alt key (Option key on a Mac), then launch Lightroom. Keep the Option key pressed until a dialog appears with the option to create a new catalog.

If this doesn't help try to create a new user account with Admin rights in Windows. Log in with this account an try to start LR. It's possible the your user profile has a fault.

Is you system up-to-date? All recent patches, fixes and device and chipset drivers are installed?

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 25H2 -- LR-Classic 15 - Photoshop 27 - Nik Collection 8 - PureRAW 5 - Topaz Photo

Thanks for this! I did the full uninstall as you recommended to no luck. It looks like it is a user profile fault - I can open the app in a separate user account with Admin rights.

Any advice on how to troubleshoot what might be going on with the user profile?
