Lightroom only imports edited photos

New Here ,

Yesterday, I bought a new MacBook Pro and tried to import all my photos from an external hard drive into Lightroom Classic. However, only the edited images were imported.

Does anyone know how to fix this so I can import all the RAW files from my external hard drive?

What is preventing you from importing RAWs? What happens? What is the error message?

Why are you importing at all? Importing is not a step in the process of moving photos and LrC catalog to a new computer. See https://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-move-lightroom-to-new-computer/

It keeps on copying them from the original location (external hard drive)

My old Macbook got broken and the catalog file was still on the internal hard drive. All the files on the internal hard drive are lost. So now I copy all my pictures from the external hard drive, but leave them on the same location (external hard drive)

Explain this further, especially in the context of "Lightroom only imports edited photos"

Depends on what caused the Macbook to "got broken". If the hard drive still works, you can find specialists who (for a fee) will copy your catalog and photos from that hard drive.

No I brought it to Apple. The motherboard is wasted and the internal hard drive is on the motherboard. All the data is lost, including the Lightroom catalog

So the internal hard drive from my old MacBook with the Lightroom Catalog is lost. I have to import all my pictures from the external hard drives without the old catalog if possible

There is nothing that should keep you from getting all the raw files on this external drive imported. Maybe share a screenshot of the import screen?
