lightroom or LR classic

Can someone explain in simple term the difference between the two. I had the regular LR from disc and would like the same. TIA

If you are a long time user of Lightroom; then Lr Classic is the natural replacement.

LRCC will overcome the need for managing catalogs & folders. Everything imported is uploaded to the cloud.

Lightroom 6.14 is the final release of the perpetual licence (without subscription) but it will get no future updates.
