Hey, looking for some tips for fix. My computer freezes under heavier load in Adobe softwares (Photoshop, Lightroom), I have to hard restart it to work again, losing a progress in the work.
Specs: Ryzen 7 5800X DDR4 3200Mhz 32GB (in Task Manager it shows 3200MT/s) GeForce RTX 4060 Samsung EVO 980 M.2

How long has this been happening? How old is the computer?
I suspect the cooling system for your computer is not working properly. Check to see that all the fans are spinning up and all the cooling vents, intake and output are clear. Some cases have screen filters where the air enters. Those need to be cleaned periodically.
Also check the fan/s on the CPU cooler and the radiator for blockage with dust.

Hey, it's 4 months old PC. Cooling is fine, I have been checking temps during other processes.
Intakes and outtakes are fine.

I'm not sure I understand what you are saying. The temps during import are what is the issue here. Temps during "other processes" is not the issue. Can you please explain?

Has this computer run Lightroom Classic and Photoshop properly in the past? When did your issue start?

It has been doing these crashes from time to time, from the start when we bought it.
Tried reinstall Adobe, all aspects up-to-date.

It sure sounds like hardware issues. Have you tried any memory test programs?

Run diagnostics on ALL of your hardware. Including the cooling system.

If this machine was mine, I would do the following:
Verify the power supply is adequate for the system wattage requirement.
Disassemble all parts, clean board contacts with a soft pencil eraser (be sure the debris is removed)
Pull the CPU cooler, clean the paste residue and apply new high quality thermal paste.
Reassemble, paying close attention to making sure all components are fully seated and connections complete and tight.
Vacuum under the motherboard for any dust/pet hair buildup that might be causing a short to the case.
Update all system drivers and GPU driver with clean installation.

Hello, I verified all of the mentioned above, downgraded Lightroom as well, moved files from NAS to local drive, updated all the drives.
Nothing help, system still freezes even when loading 200 pictures from phone.

Hey @Radek UPCE ,
We haven't been able to find a crash report with the email address you used for this community space. Have you seen any prompts to submit one? Here is an article on how to submit crash reports for Adobe: https://adobe.ly/3Ju39HY
If you submitted one, can you direct messages me the email address you used?

I can't create a crash report since the computer freezes completely and isn't usable until hard restart.

Computer freezes completely indicates you have a hardware malfunction somewhere or a bad driver. You need to check all hardware for malfunctions, and update all drivers.

Hello, I've tried that. I update my GPU driver regularly, and I've tried CPU+GPU stress test and memory tests.

Did you run stress tests on the hard disk(s)? Did you run stress tests of the motherboard? If the photos are not on the internal drive but on an external drive or camera card, did you test the USB ports and card reader? Did you update other drivers, such as the motherboard driver?

I checked my SSD with Samsung Magician, never heard of MB stress tests and drives.
