Hi
I have LR 14.2 and went back to 14.1.1, but still both versions do not show Loupe Info in Develop Module. Yes, I have done the Show Info Overlay thing, I have restarted LR several times, even my computer. It is frustrating.
When I go to the menu, it does have a check that it is enabled, just that they just don't show up.

Yes I am getting the same thing. After an import, the Loupe info disappears and I can't get it back without exiting Lightroom. It has been doing this for a while and can confirm 14.3 has not fixed it.

@damienl40933875, did you try resetting preferences?

LR sometimes soils its preferences file, and resetting it can fix all sorts of wonky behavior. That article explains how to restore the old preferences if resetting doesn't help.

I have the same issue since updating from 14.0 to 14.3 - but it seems to be catalog-dependent (it only happens with my main catalog). Some additional data points from my case (using an M1 MacBook Pro):
In short, upgrading to 14.3 broke the overlay functionality just for my main catalog. I've tried optimising it, resetting overlays to default, toggling them on/off via menu items and keyboard shortcuts , but nothing works. Any ideas?

I have the same issue, resetting the preferences worked until it didn't as did re install of LR.

The problem is back. Loupe Info Overlay Not Showing in Develop Module after Import. So reset Preferences didn't work.

Actually, it may have worked but perhaps the preferences got corrupted again. So first try it again, and if that works but only for a short while, then the real question is why Lightroom corrupts its preferences so often. One suggestion: delete the preferences file rather than reset it. Sometimes that seems to make a difference.

Thanks for the suggestion - for me, resetting the preferences didn't work. I still can't the overlay to display.

Same problem here, and I've tried the same solutions without success. This has been going on for at least 6 months, Adobe. Please fix this bug.

Same issue here. Lightroom 14.3 Release.
No overlays, I've checked the menu and View > Loupe info > Loupe info overlay is checked.

Same Issue here. Works fine in some catalogues but won't at all in others no matter what I do. Hoping Adobe will address this.

I have the exact same problem. Brand new install on brand new windows 11 computer. It worked for a few days and then stopped. My old computer had the same issue. Running LRC 14.3.1

Same problem here.
I’ve deleted the preference file, manually in Finder, and that didn’t work. Reinstalled LR Classic, didn't work.
So I’ve tried the solution I also found on this community. I have down graded to 14.0 and the problem is gone.
When I tried 14.0.1 part of the problem reoccurred, in develop I could’t see the overly but in Library it was shown.
So for now there is a temporally solution, because DOWNgrading is NOT what I want.
So hopefully Adobe can fix this problem very soon! Please.

Might be that this is of some help.

Sadly not. A number of people are suggesting workarounds or fixes, but generally those fixes include restarting, which tends to resolve the issue anyway.
I though that it might be something to do with the creation of new DNG files when using AI denoise, but the new implementation of denoise doesn't require that. I'm getting the issue less now, I think, but still the loupe info disappears periodically, accompanied by frozen star rating indicators.
