LR Classic is running very slow and cursor moves on its own

When I am running LR Classic on my MacBook Pro 2020 /64 GB RAM with 14.3.1 Sonoma, it is running slow and the cursor moves on it's own. When I am importing images and want to work on a project at the same time, it's not possible because the cursor is constantly in motion. If I am not importing, when I open an image in develop, the cursor moves on it's own for 5 seconds or so then stops. If I then go back to gallery view, once again it moves for 5 seconds and then it stops.

Have you restarted Lightroom Classic and your computer since posting this issue? Is it possible to screen record this if it can be reproduced?
