Hi Srishti, I'm not bothering you with the complete details you asked for as I noted that the fault lay with a video module, so I checked my graphics card driver which I thought was up-to-date (June 25), but it seems there has been a July update. So I have clean-installed the July Studio update and will wait a few days to see if that has solved the problem.

What steps in LrC seem to precede this crash? Please be specific.

Please go the Help->System Info and paste the information there into your reply.

Hi @bob frost

Thanks for sharing the details, and sorry to hear Lightroom Classic is crashing! As mentioned by @dj_paige, we’ll need a bit more information to troubleshoot effectively. Please share the following along with the once asked by @dj_paige

  • Does the crash happen at launch or while using a specific feature/tool?

  • What version of Windows are you on?

  • Have you recently updated your OS or graphics drivers?

  • Are you using any third-party plugins?

  • Is GPU acceleration enabled in Lightroom preferences?

In the meantime, please try the steps outlined here: https://adobe.ly/4finYBL

Let us know how it goes, we're here to help.

Regards,

Srishti
