Ever since the previous update (the one before yesterday's), Lightroom has been giving me a problem when exporting files and trying to limit the file size to a desired Kb. It says it can't create JPEGs that meet the requirement. Rolling back Lightroom to the previous version fixes the issue. I confirmed that the files sizes are indeed correct after export. With the new release yesterday, I figured I'd give it another go, but the problem persists.
Trying to export to jpeg at 800px long edge 125K, standard sharpening. These same requirements export just fine on the previous version.
Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas on how I can fix this if it's just me?

For testing purposes, if you remove the 125KB restriction, how big are the files?
My images exported to 800x600 pixels at 80% quality usually end up in the 230-260 KB range.

I think I've narrowed it down to the catalog I'm using as an older catalog doesn't seem to have the problem. Not sure what I can do outside of creating a new catalog now?

I can't see how changing catalogs would help.
Now if you just did an upgrade from 7.x to 8.0, some JPG algorithms might have changed, but that seems unlikely.
How big are the files when exported without the size restriction?
Which exact NUMBER version of LR are you using?
Mac or Windows? Which version?
