LR locking up at export

After I select the drive to export, the program locks up on me. I have to force quit by holding the on / off button on the laptop. This never happened on the old laptop. This is a new 16" Mac Pro..When I restart, I am able to export..Has anyone had the locking up issue?

Try selecting "Same folder as original Photo" then put a check mark in "Put in Subfolder" and give it a name like Exports.

Does the program then Hang?

You should also try turning off the option to use the GPU. Set that to Off and test.
