I have edited photographs on Lightroom but I cant get them to their destination in their edited form

You have to EXPORT them.

When you edit images in Lightroom all of the adjustments are stored in the catalog. The image is always in its original state. If you want to put the edited image in another folder or use it for another purpose then you need to export a copy that suits the purpose.
