not all photos open as smart object. I wonder why.

If I select 5 photos in LR 2015.7 to open as smart objects in Photoshop, only 4 open there.

If I select 4 photos in LR 2015.7 to open as smart objects in Photoshop, only 3 open there.

Cant calculate yet which one wont open to out smart the unsmart object opening.

Are you using a Mac?

IIRC I read a thread on this same problem. Try updating both LR and PS to most current versions. you do that from the CC Desktop app

If you are using LR CC 2015.7 that is not the most current version. CC 2015.8 is the current version.

No 2015.8 came out on December 8th. A month and a half ago.

Cloud said i was up to date till 3 days ago.
Why did the problem not occur for those 6 weeks?
