Not displaying photos

I recently upgraded my Lightroom to LR Classic (I haven't used it in over a year) & it won't display any of my photos in Develop. Old photos or new imports. I can see the thumbnails, but the main screen looks like this.... Anyone else have this issue when they upgraded? Anyone know how to fix it?

Hi amandaj,

We're really sorry for all the hassle. Could you please turn off the GPU from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps.

Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck GPU > Restart Lightroom.

Let us know if that helps.

Regards,

Mohit

that looks like a graphics driver problem.

update your driver and see if that fixes the problem.  if not, disable hardware acceleration.

Yes! Adobe Support was able to resolve it for me via chat. I'm at work right now, so I can't access my program to walk you through what they did. I definitely recommend chat with support; it took them about 5 mins to fix it.  Good luck!

If updating your graphics driver doesn't solve the problem, then in Lightroom, go to the preferences, performance tab, and uncheck the graphics processor option. That will probably solve it.
