P: Ability to shuffle the order of images in a Slideshow

I would like to have the ability to have a slideshow that you can start from a top level parent folder, and for it to be able to shuffle the order the photos appear.

for example - I have a 'Travel' folder and then albums of each of my travels/holidays contained within. I would like to be able to set a random slideshow shuffle of these photos. We like to sit as a family and view our photos in this way, rather than every photo from one trip, and then every photo from another trip.

This thread is two years old and randomized slideshows still isn't possible. What a colossal disappointment. How hard can that be? 🤯

Oh yes, I'd like that on Apple TV particularly.

Yes please add the random slideshow feature to this app.  It's been way too long coming!

That's exactly the missing feature why I still do not switch to Lightromm CC. I'm using Classic version and copy all images after processing to Apple Fotos. Not really comfortable but it works. But Lightroom is still better for doing RAW image processing then Apple Fotos.
Let's see who is faster with a full implementation I need: Apple with some new RAW processing features or Adobe with a trivial shuffle function...

Would still love this as an option in Lightroom Classic. Please add randomize slideshow order as an option.
