P: Flat-Field-Correction doesn’t work

Recently I updated my Lightroom Classic on my MacMini M1 from 11.31 to 11.4, then I found that the flat-field correction does not acctully work anymore. (I use Leica M240 with SuperAngulon 21mm)

I did that step by step for many times, I could click the button and the loading bar also run, but the photos changed nothing. I reinstalled the version 11.31 today and it worked, then I tried to install version 11.4 and it didn't work again. So I think it might be a bug of 11.4 either on all computers or on Mac.

Exactly the same situation for me on 11.4

Rollback to 11.31 solved the issue.

And, honestly, I wish Adobe would just let me select a flatfield image, rather than their weird AI guessing which one I'm trying to use.

Same here. The problem is both on Mac and PC.

Recently, I updated my Lightroom Classic on my M1 Max Mac Studio from 11.3.1 to 11.4.1, then I found that the flat-field correction does not actually work anymore. It is creating .dng files but without any correction.

I reinstalled the version 11.3.1 today and it worked, then I tried to install version 11.4 and 11.4.1 and it didn't work again. So I think it might be a bug of 11.4 and 11.4.1. I tried it on both PC and Mac and it's the same.

Per Adobe, your flat-field calibration frame needs to be the first or last photo in your selection. Is it?

Having the same issue as in this post:

P: Flat-Field-Correction doesn’t work - Adobe Support Community - 13031479

It looks like the thread or ticket on this one was closed without considering this as an actual error.

I've tried it myself. On LR Classic 11.5 the Flat-Field Correction doesn't work anymore.

My exact workflow worked on 11.3 and earlier.

When I use the feature, LR creates a new .dng file, but without any correction in it. Comparing the original RAW file with the "corrected" .dng shows that there was no modification done in any way.

Adobe - please look into this and fix this bug that came with 11.4 or 11.5

I just upgraded to 11.5 and exact same issue. It creates a DNG, but otherwise the file remains unchanged.

Flat-field correction is just straight broken.

Rikk Said the issue was fixed in 12 (Finally!!??), however is seems like another bug was added in the process. I managed to get a succesfull flat-field working (same pair of images as when I did it in 11.31) , but now there are random rectanges in the DNG that are still present when the file is exported!_SP_6561-2-small.jpg
