New Here ,
Jun 16, 2025 Jun 16, 2025

Lightroom Classic versjon: 14.4
Operativsystem: Mac OS 15

As of this new version I am not able to denoise a batch of photos, only individual ones. Can't find any guidance as to how this can be fixed. Hope you can help me, thanks.

Select the images to be Denoised, enable Auto Sync, then click on the Denoise checkbox. You can use the slider below the Denoise checkbox to fine tune the amount of noise reduction applied to all or individual images in real time.

In Lightroom Classic, there are 5 ways Batch editing can be realized.

  1.  Auto-sync
  2.  Sync
  3.  Copy/Paste
  4.  Presets
  5.  Previous

In Lightroom Desktop, your 2 options are:

    1.  Copy/Paste
    2.  Preset

Lightroom Desktop does not have Sync, Auto-Sync, or Previous.

For more information, please refer to this video by @brianmatiash, in which he demonstrates these options and provides additional context.

Yes, as the newest update, it has drastically changed the Denoise process
which used to be very simple into a whole longer process, more of a
downgrade

The issue is the AI settings update. I can do the denoise to a batch of photos but the AI update can only be done 1 at a time, even though it says update all it only does 1. This is a horrible wate of time. Though the pics are better it is taking a week for what I did in a day previous.

When I select multiple images and run Noise Reduction (AI), it only applies to the first image.
Noise Reduction is not available for multiple images.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Hola,

Good evening, I have exactly the same problem. I want to edit several photos at the same time and still manage to edit others simultaneously. Now I can only edit one at a time and it gets stuck in that tool. And when I try to synchronize with that function active in detail, it takes a long time and in the end it doesn't remove the noise.

Hi, now what I do is to remove the noise in one photo and then copy the edition in all photos.

Select photos - Reveal Adjusts - Copy Adjusts

It works for all photos but you can't edit meanwhile is reducing noise.

Hope it helps

Those options are not good enough for Lightroom Desktop.  Batch enhancing needs to be brought back as an option.  Please convey this to the appropriate people.  Why are they making our lives harder and saying it is an improvement?

How can I apply Denoise to a group of images?
When processing many high ISO frames, it's better to automatically apply denoise to a batch of images, instead of waiting for the filter to be applied to each photo individually.
After the recent changes, how can this be done?

Select all images, turn on Auto Sync, then denoise the active image. Don't forget to turn off Auto Sync when you're done.

Since the latest Lightroom Classic update (June 2025), I can no longer batch-denoise multiple selected images. When I select several photos and use the “Enhance” → “Denoise” function, only the first image is processed.

Lightroom starts denoising immediately without showing the usual settings dialog, and I have to manually start the process again for each additional image.

Previously, Lightroom would automatically apply the denoise process to all selected images, one after the other, using the settings I chose in the dialog. Now, this workflow is no longer possible, and it significantly slows down my editing process.

I have already:

  • Reset all warning dialogs in Preferences

  • Restarted Lightroom

  • Tried different combinations of image selections

The problem persists.

I chatted with Adobe Support, but they couldn’t help and asked me to submit a bug report here.

System Information:

  • Windows 11 (64-bit)

  • Laptop: Acer Aspire A315-44P

  • RAM: 16 GB

  • GPU: AMD Radeon™ with 8.2 GB memory

Please let me know if there is a fix or workaround. Thank you very much for your help!

Best regards, Claudia

To the team that decided to lock out use of LRC while batch denoise is running in this update... Idiotic decision.

I often like to batch edit my photos. When I copy the edits from a picture to paste onto multiple pictures, the AI noise reduction doesn't work that often. This wasn't a problem before when you could just select all the noisy images, right click and click Enhance. Often when I copy the AI noise reduction in the batch edit, the images turn out pink and weird. After that I have to go through all the pink images and click *update AI settings*. I hope this gets fixed. Or if they bring the old enhance button after right clicking back. It would save a lot of time if you can queue all the noisy images for AI enhancement, and then let it work for some time, and come back and just focus on adjusting colours and all that. Thanks

I started sweating as I shoot dog agility trials so I have hundreds of pictures to denoise, and I tend to fix them all first and then denoise them all. Thankfully, I just tested it and it works. Denoise the first picture, then press CTRL C (or copy), and in the window that appears, only select 'Detail', and then go select your batch to denoise, and press CTRL V. I almost had a heart attack thinking I'd have to do this all manually one by one!!

The problem with the Auto-Sync method is that you run the risk of syncing adjustments you didn't want to sync. And you might only see it later in the exported files. Or when a client complaints in a mail afterwards. All this often happens in the heat of the moment, under pressure. It is very possible. And a really time consuming to fix.

This risk was completely non-existing in the previous method. You could only apply AI Denoise to the selected photos. And now I'm reading you can't continue your work while the AI NR is being applied? That makes no sense at all. I'm a photographer, I'm working another photo job while LR is doing its thing.

All this seems to prioritize "let's make it more like photoshop" and not "let's give the professionals what they need in the field or when under a deadline". Shame, again.

There are many a solutions that don't require an earlier version of LrC. The solution is explained early in this thread: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/p-how-do-i-batch-edit-denoise-after-the...

They are many solutions, when you denoise  hundreds of pictures lightroom is blocked you can not work on other pictures while it s running the denoise work like in the lightroom version 14.3.1, and when the denoise is over and you edit denoised pictures when copy past or do the previous button it denoise a second time the picture... waist of time...
