P: Map search stopped working on 11/20

The map search function stopped working yesterday.  The search function worked normally yesterday, but stopped responding during a work session. I am running ver 14.0.1 Lightroom Classic in Windows 11 Pro.  I can drag photos from the tray and place them on the map without any issues.  I see this was an issue previously and it is curious that it appears to have come back.  Is anyone else having this issue?

Service appears to have been restored as of this morning.

If you have continued issues, switch to Library, close Lightroom, relaunch, and Map should be returned to normal.  It may take some time for the changes to propagate worldwide.

Thank you for your patience.

It started again yesterday.
Still not working today. Anyone have an idea of when they're going to fix
this?
Because at this point. The only reason I still use Lr is for the map
module. Otherwise, I'd have moved over to Capture One.
I can't tether my Sony to Lr. So I switched my studio work to Capture One
a few years ago.
Now these periods where the platform takes a dump. While Adobe never says a
word to us, the users. Is getting to be a real problem.
Do they actually care about us, the consumers? Or are we now just a
disposable source of income?

Confirmed - I have the same. So the old problem was again implemented by the new release

The workaround till fix is to use Google Maps, copy the coordinates of the particular place and paste them to Lr Map module

I am not seeing any issue on this end. Are you still experiencing the issue?

Can anyone provide step-by-step instructions for reproducing?

By @Rikk Flohr: Photography

 1. go to the map module

2. type a place name in the search field you want to find

3. type <RETURN>

4. You will see "Searching ..." message at the bottom for a short time

5. There are no changes on the screen - the map remains on the please it was before #1
