Hello, I am running Lightroom classic v13-4 and all of a sudden when I go to export even just one photo the export tab opens up top but nothing happens. I once let it sit for 24 hours and it showed it completed but nothing was in the folder. I have tried everything, resetting preferences, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, deleting watermarks and making a blank one, checked my hard drive, checked export settings they're the same I've always kept them. I'm using a 2017 iMac Ventura 13.7 i5 8gb I'm not sure if the age of my Mac has anything to do with it but any help is appreciated thank you!

Hey, @Lucky25921774eo3a. Welcome to the Lightroom Classic Community. I've moved your post from Photoshop to Lightroom Classic. Thanks for listing the steps you've tried.
Where is the catalog stored at the moment? In the internal drive or the external drive?
Try these steps to get Lightroom Classic to launch:
- Ensure Lightroom Classic has the required permissions on macOS: https://adobe.ly/3YBA1TY...
- Press the OPT when launching Lightroom Classic, and then choose the option to create a new catalog on the internal drive and check if exporting works in the new catalog.
- If the above step does help, go to the following location to launch Lightroom Classic via the terminal.
In Finder > Application Folder > Lightroom Classic > Right-click on https://adobe.ly/4fm2TFz > Show Package Contents > Contents > macOS > Lightroom - double click to open.
Let us know how it goes. Thanks!

14.0.1 still will not let me export my images! Photographer in the middle of busy season, and this is not a good look. I can export one at a time, but not all at once. I exported a gallery of 80+ images just fine before the update.

What happens when you try? Please describe in detail. If there is an error message, please provide the exact complete unedited word-for-word error message.
Please also try some basic troubleshooting like exporting to a different disk, and if that doesn't work, re-starting your computer.

Same here. In two words: nothing happens! Syncing is also very instable, i manage to sync 3 pictures, then again complete failure and - nothing. This programm is driving me crazy.

Mac book Pro 2019 | Sequoia 15.0.1 | lightroom classic 14.01
1. exporting: doesn't work at all or if i have „success" it takes literally hours to export one photo.
2. shanging rateings: sometimes it works, sometimes it says it is changed, but nothing happens
3. adjusting photos with the previous: sometimes it works, but most of the time nothing happens
4. collecting: sometimes it works, but most of the time nothing happens
5. syncing: painfully slow.
my feeling is that there is a problem with sequoia and lightroom, because the problems got severe after updating to sequoia. now i cannot work with lightroom anymore and i need the program urgently!!.

The reports of being unable to export are not widespread, nor have they been repeatable internally.
We need additional information to help diagnose what you are seeing.
Problems of this nature can be the result of a bad install. I would recommend performing a clean reinstall.
Clean Lightroom Install Procedure
- Close Lightroom
- Restart the computer
- Use the Adobe Creative Cloud App to uninstall Lightroom
- Restart the computer
- Install Lightroom via the Creative Cloud App without launching any other programs.
- Restart the computer
- Launch Lightroom
- Wait 5 minutes
In addition, a preference file reset may be prudent. It can explain unexpected behavior and does survive an uninstall/reinstall.
This procedure works for both Lightroom Classic and Lightroom Desktop.
If you are using Lightroom Desktop, it can change your local storage location. Please review this setting after resetting preferences.
Reset Procedure:
1. Close Lightroom.
2. Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom.
3. Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog.
4. Close Lightroom.
5. Restart Lightroom.
If after that you are still experiencing the Export issue, it might be a good idea to, as a diagnostic step, create a new OS User Account and see if the behavior manifests while logged into this test account.
I've tried exporting on Win and Mac and and am not seeing issues on single or bulk exports.

Tried everything except the new user.
BEFORE resetting the preferences, i was able to start an export, and to edit one (!) photo. Export did take a loooooong time. Too long. I stopped and shut down the program immediately as i discovered that i also couldn't work on other photos during the export.
Reset than the program as you wrote. Tried an export. Took about 5-10 minutes until a window popped up (telling me that there where duplicates) - but it is still far too slow. Preparing the export is alos superslow and not processing( only 250 photos).
not sure how i could create a new user...

Edit: it seems to me that it is really a performance problem. as long as i only work on the photos and adjust settings it is ok, but whenever i try to export or sync something - i cannot do two thinga parallel...

Mac OS Sequoia
It is unbelievable frustrating, working takes hours instead of minutes. Tried installing, deiinstalling, new start, cleaned up the sync history and and and ... nothing helps. I need the programm tomorrow during a sports event and i need to be quick and fast. Working on photos and exporting and syncing need to be possible parralel!!!!!!!! For example: I work on a photo, not even fancy ai stuff, just normal things, then i try to export some photos - i takes 10 minutes until the export bar with 'preparing export' pops up, export is running, and if i want to continue for example to rate the next photo - it says ok you rated the photo but it doesn't change until the export is done!!!!

The most likely cause for the multiple images you've mentioned here is a bad install.

If after that, you are still seeing the problems I would recommend resetting your preference file.

What error message do you get if any?
Please reply with a screen shot showing the entire Lightroom Classic window, including the big Export dialog box. Expand that so we can see everything top to bottom.

I am using 14.0.1 on a Mac. I have the same export issue. I attempt to export more than one photo from a folder or collection and the progress bar jumps to full but never exports anything. I can only export photos one at a time.

It is a broken catalog. Adobe has taken a copy of my catalog says that 80% of the time they can fix it. It is impossible to use in the current state. Some sort of preference corruption I suspect.
