Password problem on download of apps

I'm trying to add my subscribed LrC and PS apps to my new Apple 24 M3 2023 iMac computer, but it won't accept my Adobe password when prompted so I can continue on with the download process. Any ideas?

Please verify, you already downloaded and installed the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App, correct?

And are you or are you not allowed to sign in to it?

It's likely your Apple macOS operating system - not Adobe - asking for your local admin username and password so it can install files on your hard drive.
