People Masking Error/Mac Studio GPU question

I'm working on Mac Mini 2018 and have now encountered the dreaded People Masking Error problem.

Now considering an ugrade to Mac Studio M1Max, but here's my question. Does it satisfy Lightroom Classic requirements? I assume so, but it's not clear.

Lightoom recommends:

  • 4 GB of GPU memory for 4k or greater displays
  • 8 GB of dedicated GPU memory or 16 GB of shared memory for full GPU acceleration

Apple say Mac Studio M1max has a 24-core GPU, but nothing about GPU memory, how much is shared or dedicated.

Can someone tranlsate the Lightroom to the Apple for me, or vice versa?

thanks

Eric

The Studio Max far exceeds the recommended requirements as almost all of the memory is acccessible to the GPU. I write 'almost' all because Apple do not disclose the exact amount.
