First troubleshooting steps:
1. Try setting Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor to Off. Does LR still quit?
2. Are asked to submit a crash report to Adobe, and if so, did you submit it with the email address associated with your Adobe Id? That will allow Adobe to tie the crash report to your report here.
3. Upgrade to Mac OS 15. Mac OS 14 has had lots of problems with older Intel Macs with AMD Radeon 5000-series GPUs -- for example, Apple released a buggy graphics driver in Mac OS 14.4.1. A few people have reported that upgrading to Mac OS 15 fixes the issues, though a couple have said it doesn't.
