I would like to buy Lightroom 6 stand alone version, but the system prososes only the acquire  creative cloud - lightroom cc

i would like to known the correct procedure.

...but it may be that you are located in Italy? I've heard that in Italy you only get Lr CC, for whatever reason.

I've changed my region to Italy and effectively I do not find Lr 6, but only the subscription to Lr CC. I do not know what the Adobe policy is, but I find it strange, that one European country is excluded from the Lr 6 choice.

Just curious, how did you change your region to Italy?  Knowing how to do that would help us help others who are struggling with Adobe's flakiness here.

If this is the same link that the OP used, there is a "Change Region" link at the bottom of the page that seems to work for me. But I didn't go all the way through the process. So who knows if it really works?

The following regions either omit Photoshop Lightroom 6 from the Adobe Product Catalog, or else they redirect the entire product-catalog page to a marketing blurb for the Creative Cloud:

Česká republika (Czech Republic)

CIS - English (Commonwealth of Independent States)

Italia (Italy)

România (Romania)

Slovensko (Slovakia)

Suomi (Finland)

СНГ – русский (Commonwealth of Independent States - Russian)

中国 (China) (*)

Given Adobe's reputation for quality and attention to detail, it's an even bet whether these are deliberate or accidental.

(*) Regarding China, these do appear to work: China Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Taiwan

Try typing Lightroom 6 in the search box when you are in the purchase/product catalogue page. It should then bring you to the page where you can buy the standalone version.

Which country are you in?  As explained above, Photoshop Lightroom 6 is not listed in the product catalog for a number of countries, which is why searching for it won't work.

Italy only shows Lr CC photographer's plan as an option. Please contact Adobe on this for recommendations on why this is the case.

Just confirming that I am in Canada, and if I click on lightroom 6 it only takes me to the online plan.  Also confirming that if I type in 'lightroom' in the search box, it does bring me to 4 options, one of which is the stand alone....but there is indeed at least one option for on line when first clicking on the plans, unlike mauriziog38822468 above....

But I agree, it's not easy to find. I did the exercise now several times and I always struggle to find my way to Lr6.

But not everybody needs this.
