In Lightroom Classic for Windows, you can delete an image from disc by pressing the delete or backspace key and then using the shortcut key "D" to Delete From Disc
In macOS the shortcut is not available so you have to use the mouse to select Delete from Disc. This takes precious seconds!
Can the shortcut be added to the maxOS version?

On the Mac, hit the Delete key and then use Cmd-D to Delete from Disk rather than Remove. (Hit Return if you just want to Remove).

Just so you’re aware, this type of dialog box shortcut (which has been available on the Mac for many years) can work differently depending on the application.
When a dialog box appears, some Mac applications let you press the first letter of each button name as a shortcut. Most applications also let you press Return for the OK button, and Esc for the Cancel button.
However…
With some other Mac applications, you have to press the Command key and the first letter.
And some Mac applications don’t provide keyboard shortcuts for dialog box buttons.
So if you try a shortcut and it isn’t working, try one the variations.
