sky selection greyed out in Lightroom Classic

This may be a user error, but I am trying the sky mask feature in LC and for some reason sky, background, subject and object are all greyed out.  What am I doing wrong?  

Verion is latest at LR6-2-2-v13-3

The Lightroom Classic version number would be something like 13.3 or 13.4.

Please show us a screen capture of the screen where you see this problem. Use the "Insert Photos" icon to include your screen capture in your reply. Do not attach files.

Version is 13.4 and it's only some images that the tools are greyed out.

Check that your GPU drivers are up to date.
