Sorting by copy name?

I am sure it can be done, no? Sort a folder of images by their copy names.

IIRC a Copy name is actually the REAL name of the File on Disk and will display so in LR with the Original Filename listed just below the current File Name

Thanks for your response. I think I wasn't clear. I have given these images unique copy names, so it is not the default file name. Different name than the actual filenames.

Then there isn't one. You could "Filter" by Copy Name using, I think, the Any Filter plugin but even then they would be Sorted by the options available in LR.

To build on Just Shoot Me's reply, both the Any Filter and the Data Explorer plugins can build collections sorted by any number of criteria, including Copy Name.

Many people have long asked for more sort fields built-in to LR.
