I am using Lightroom classic cc, have used lightroom for years. For some reason that I can't figure out when I put in my memory card, select import, I am not seeing the photos on my memory card? It is so frustrating.
At the morment it is saying source file and going files on my computer and not showing the memory card
Can someone please tell me how to fix this, where do I find my memory card. I would be so grateful
How are you connecting the memory card to the computer? Directly to the camera? USB memory card reader?

Try connecting to a different USB port. If that doesn't work, then you need to try different parts, i.e. USB cable or card reader. If you are connecting direct to the camera, try using an external card reader connected through a USB cable. Connect to a USB 3 port (Blue) for the fastest results.
Once you try these things, close and restart Lightroom and start the Import process fresh.

Oh thank you so much for your suggestions, sometimes you are too close to the trees to see the wood! I had tried a different card reader but now changed the USB port and I am happy to say it is now recognising it and I am importing as I type this.
Thanks so much and a very Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year
kind regard
Susan
