Hi!

When I exported my files today (162 Nikon D850 RAW Files) from Lightroom I noticed, that all 162 Pictures where quite fast saved on my HDD, but the progress bar of Lightroom still went on and on. (It was the first time I really observed the whole saving progress live in the Windows Explorer). All Files where visible in my Explorer after around 10min, but Lightroom was not done until ~5min. The Files all looked okay, they had a recent file size and nothing looked wrong. Now I'm wondering, why is Lightroom showing me a much longer progress?! Is it still finishing something in the background?

Lightroom Classic Version is 8.3.1 . I'm using Windows 10 Pro (also latest version).

Go to the Export settings window showing the options you used.

1. Is Post-Processing > After Export (at the very bottom) set to anything other than Do Nothing?

2. Are you using a post-processing plugin, e.g. Data Wrangler or Run Any Command?

Hi! You were absolutely right! I had "JPEG Mini" in the backgroud running. I think that's the reason for slower export times. Thank you very much!!

Yeah, Export uses all your computer's processors to render and export the images, but then it just uses one processor for running the post-process actions like JPEG Mini, so they go much slower.
