Switch between photos, I have to wait several seconds

I hope someone can help me resolve a frustrating issue I'm experiencing with Adobe Lightroom. I've searched for solutions online, but so far, I haven't found a satisfactory answer.

My primary problem is that Lightroom is incredibly slow when I navigate between photos in the Library module. I've already generated 1:1 previews for all my photos, so theoretically, it should be much faster. However, every time I switch between photos, I have to wait several seconds, making the editing experience very frustrating.

PC specs seem adequate to me (win 11, 64 GB of RAM, Intel Core i7-9750H processor, dedicated graphics card, 2 TB SSD with 1.5 TB free)

Note that the "Develop" module works perfectly, and there are no delays when switching between photos. The problem seems to be limited to the Library module.

I've tried to solve the issue by following some online guides, such as optimizing Lightroom preferences and clearing the cache, but the problem persists.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem or has any suggestions on how to address it? I would greatly appreciate any advice or solutions you can share.

The first thing that you should try is to switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue.

Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.

Another step is to try to reset the Lightroom preferences.

It's recommended to backup your preferences before you reset the preferences to the default settings:

If this doesn't help we need more informations about your environment.

Please provide also a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be get from the LrC Help > System Info menu item. There's a copy button in the System Info dialog. Press this button and paste the info into your next forum post.

Is your system up-to-date? Do you have installed all recent updates and patches for the operating system and the device drivers, especially the graphic driver. Please make also sure that you have installed the Studio version and not the Game Ready version of your NVidia driver.

A delay of "several seconds" is huge!  Your description may indicate the disk where your 1:1 previews are stored has some problem.  You should have your LR catalog and the previews on your fastest disk, which in your system is the SSD.  I assume that is where they are.  I suggest that you run a disk test to ensure the disk is operating at its spec speed.  I use Samsung SSD's so I use the Samsung Magician to run benchmarks and diagnostic scans.  You should use whatever is appropriate for your SSD.

I notice your LR is a version behind, so you may want to update.  Your Win10 version is a far lower number than what I see but you are running the Business version so I am not sure if you are up to date.  Check and if necessary update.
