switching between library and develop mode

if im in develop mode and I wont to develop another pictures from my library the only way to open those pictures in that library is to close lightroom then reopen and it will show me in the develop mode for those pictures

Do you get a blank or black image when you go to Develop?

If so, it's probably a GPU problem.

Go to Preferences > Performance, and uncheck Use graphics processor.

Do you mean that the keyboard shortcut does not work?

Or you do not have the Module Menu at top of screen?

And press to return to Develop.
