Hello! I am using tethering for a long time not only on my PC but also on my old laptop with my camera Canon EOS R and I had no problem. Recently I bought a new laptop and the tethering is not working. More specifically, although the camera is detected and I can see the live view, when I click on the capture button the photos are saved on my camera but they are not saved on my laptop and do not appear on the filmstrip.
My laptop specifications are the following:
Dell G15 5511
Processor: i7 11800H
RAM 16 GB
Windows 11 Pro, Version 22H2
Lightroom Classic 12.3
Please, let me know about what could be the problem!
Thank you in advance!

Hey @Epameinondas0D4C. Welcome to the Lightroom Classic community. I'll help you figure this out.
You can import photos directly into a Lightroom Classic catalog with Lightroom. You can bypass the camera's capture software and import directly from a camera.
Do you also use the Canon EOS utility on the laptop? EOS utility has the option to allow saving on the camera & the drive, which could be interfering with Lightroom.
If there is a storage card inside the camera, as a test, remove it & restart the camera while it is connected to your laptop & wait for Lightroom Classic to detect it again.
Let me know how it goes from here,
Thanks!

Hello Sameer,
The problem still exists. In order to understand what exactly is the problem I am facing, I am sending you a short video with the procedure. As you can see, I have connected my camera with my laptop with a Tether pro cable and the camera is detected on Lightroom but when I click the capture button on the live view the photo is taken and saved in my camera but does not appear on the filmstrip of Lightroom. On my old laptop as well as on my PC this function is possible.
Looking forward for your reply!
Thank you very much!
Nondas
