macOS manages Rosetta per application, so the way one application has it set does not directly affect how other applications work, and does not affect how Rosetta is set in other applications. However, Rosetta does need some memory and processing power of its own, so if just one application runs in Rosetta, that can reduce the amount of computer resources available to other applications.
One way to enable or disable Rosetta for an application is using the standard macOS method, which involves switching the “Open in Rosetta” option in the Get Info window for an application in macOS Finder. This opens the application in Rosetta until you switch that option again.
Another way is starting the application in Rosetta for the next session only. You do this in the Creative Cloud app.
