Unable to Export Book to Blurb: Error Message "GutsSize"

I'm wondering if anyone knows what could be causing this error message or what it means. I've had troubles uploading books to Blurb before but usually after I retry a couple times it goes through. This time I've been getting this error message (at about the 75% mark) and have no idea what it means. I've checked all the pages over for error alerts or icons and can't find anything.

Heh, thanks! I figured out that it does have to do with the size. There is no text in the book but I was attempting to duplicate a book by copying and pasting a layout and then changing it to 'Standard Landscape' rather than 'Large Landscape'. It let me do it but ultimately it didn't work when trying to print. I feel like there should be a way to copy a book and resize it - at this point I'm just going to start from scratch and make a whole new book.

Ah... I could be wrong here, but what does Photoshop Lightroom for picture editing have to do with a book?

Is this a book of only pictures... or pictures with labels?

Lightroom DOES have a BOOK module!

Is that the exact full error message?   "GutsSize"  (or translate)

Could it be referring to the 'Gutter' or Guides? https://support.blurb.com/hc/en-us/articles/207792276-Trim-guides-and-page-bleed-in-Lightroom

Do you have any text panels on pages where the error occurs? and is it possible that some text has over-filled the text box and is not visible on the page?

(My first thought- a "Beer Belly" )

Thanks for the reply.

I have learnt from your reply, as I have occasionally suggested to others to 'Duplicate' a Book collection, but never thought about the ramifications of changing the page size.

I must remember that any page templates are specific to the page size selected for the book.

Het ligt helemaal niet aan het feit dat u bij een gemaakt fotoboek in LR de boekinstellingen wijzigde.

Ik ben helemaal opnieuw begonnen en ik krijg steeds dezelfde guts size foutmelding.

"I started from scratch and I keep getting the same guts size error message."

Welcome to refresh a 2017 forum thread. The best I can answer is that "Guts" refers to the "Inside Pages" of a book.

Are you using the Lr-Classic Book Module with its default page templates?

Are you creating a PDF to print using your own defined Page Size? (Not compatible with Blurb)

Do any of your book photo or text cells extend beyond 'Trim' lines?

See this link that might provide information:

https://support.printpapa.com/kb/a363/guidelines-on-setting-up-the-inside-pages-or-guts-of-a-perfect...

"The Inside pages of a book have to be properly formatted to make sure the end result when printed is fine. Problems occur mainly due to using bad fonts, not proper margins, or bad PDF exporting software. So to avoid these issues, please follow the file requirements mentioned below for worry-free printing."
