Update to Lightroom 6.14

Community Beginner ,
Dec 19, 2017 Dec 19, 2017

Hope someone can help me on this one.  I have version 6.13 of Lightroom. I've tried updating to the new version, but all I am getting on the update, is the following:

Your applications are all up to date.  Any thoughts?

The link in reply #1 has links to both Application Installer and LR 6.14 download.

All download links to v6.14 have disappeared! (noted as at 12/12/2019)

The only way to obtain older versions now is to contact Adobe Customer Care-

And see "Software Support" page-

You need to expand the Lightroom6 element:

No sir.  The link you have provided, Download Photoshop Lightroom , DOES NOT have links to Lightroom 6.14 download.  Please explain where the correct link for this download can be found.  I would also like to know if anyone there can tell me how to fix the broken Lightroom Help item on the Lightroom 6 Help pulldown menu.  I paid $150 for Lightroom 6 on a DVD a while back, and right out of the box, the Lightroom Help link is broken.  Online help at Adobe is for later versions, especially subscription versions.  I thought Adobe was still supporting version 6.

You must not understand something. I clicked on the link above in your message. In that link it's necessary to scroll down a bit until you find the Lightroom 6 link. Then you have to expand that link. When you do that, the Lightroom 6.14 update is right at the top of the list. The link that you need to click on looks like this:

Capture.JPG

After you click on that link, the Lightroom 6 .14 update should appear at the very top of the list and be available for download.

The link takes you to a page that says it has links to the updates, but they do not appear on the page. I have my serial number recorded, but cannot get access to the download of 6.14. Is there another page somewhere? I have searched, and keep getting ads for CC.

This has already been explained, with pictures, earlier in this thread.

I just went to the link that is been provided. You first have to click on Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6. When you do, the Mac updates are listed first, and if you scroll down a little bit the Windows updates are listed underneath.

I visited the website just minutes ago and captured this screenshot. As a hint, it is necessary to scroll down the page a little bit to find the appropriate link.

right, thanks. I finally did find it. It does NOT look like a link at

all. (expletive deleted active X or whatever it is that decided a drop

down from a link with no highlighting was the way to go...)

This can be done with very little scripting and/or CSS. There will be no ActiveX involved. It works even on the most secured browsers (well as long as Javascript is enabled).

I did, however, not analyse the code behind, but for sure it’s no big affair.

Nancy, there are answers with pictures showing where to click and seemingly adequate instructions on what to do to navigate to where to download the Lightroom 6 .14 update. It's there, you just have to do it. Really, it IS there.

You probably have to run the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool.

Yes, @Guyten, Lightroom 6.14 and Lightroom CC 2015.14 are the EXACT SAME DOWNLOAD file.

Once you download it, and it sees that you have a license for Lightroom 6, you get Lightroom 6.

Forum users marked as "Staff" are paid by Adobe as they are Adobe employees. All the rest of us are volunteering.

The links to the updates are public. 6.14 now available – last perpetual update of Lightroom  - look at the magic word here...

...and you will be guided to this page: Download Photoshop Lightroom ... where you find the downloads by clicking the ">"

no dark magic!

And by reading this thread, you would have found a similar instruction!

(as special tools, I used this time the Bing search engine instead of Google.)

I can agree. I sometimes have to look around to find the information. But it's there and not hidden. But the arrow or the line could look like a link.

The following link, under 2015 apps, will provide you with the Lightroom 6.14 download. It indicates Lightroom 6, but the download is for 6.14. There isn't any point in providing anything other than that because there are no updates and no interim versions are needed, so only the one download is necessary. So the one file is the only one that is now being offered.

Download Lightroom

Shouldn't be necessary. The installer should take care of updating and replacing 6.0 with 6.14.
