Wondering what I need to do to make my custom camera/color profiles and presets sticky - so they don't get deleted every time a new version of LR Classic drops?
I go the the profile browser and everything is gone, just hours after having used them last.
Yes I can import them AGAIN - (after I figure out where they are hidden in the OSX//Library) but shouldn't have to. Automatic Updates shouldn't delete user settings IMHO.
I do't use user/custom Presets but had some in my system and all those were also deleted.
SOLVED!!
Final solution - did an across the board update of the other Adobe programs, restarted and it's working again.
Maybe a glitch, maybe some stupid user error - not sure...
Thanks for effort to help.

Just to add to this - I try to import my camera profiles and it says they were "already imported" - but there is nothing in there other than the default profiles!
I've now restarted - same issue. This is OSX Catalina, LR Classic/Desktop 10.3

Continuiing on since we can't edit posts....
- I've found an UPDATE now online - LR Classic 10.3 to 10.4 - it did not help. I still get the "already imported" error message yet I have 28 custom current profiles that do not show up (created in Colcor Checker - matching to the RAW files/camera origin)
I can actually see the files uder the User library in Finder - just not in LR

And when you click on the + symbol, and select manage, are they selectable?
followup/I was conflating presets/profiles. Yep not the same

Manage Profiles only shows defaults.
Profiles are not presets. That's something entirely different.
It's weird because they seem to be in the right place - they just do not show up in LR now. And I was literally using them several hours before - mistakenly saying OK to an update.

Could you show a screen capture of the folder with the profiles you are trying to import?
Also the description of your operating system should be macOS Catalina (include the version number).
Just a hint maybe there are no Profiles in the folder, could be Presets which are imported and are in your user Presets.

DCP files are custom Xrite Color Checker/Camera profiles (color correction for cameras and lens combos).

So, for the profiles (my mistake just noticed presets) when you browse, do they show up? Just as if you were to browse for camera matching profiles.
