Hello,
Please, can you help....
I am using Windows 10.
I have copies of all my images on two external hard drives: (E:) & (F:) My internal hard drive (C:) was full up so I have now updated the folder location in Lightroom to point to one of the external drives (E:) where one copy of my images is. I have deleted all of my images on my internal drive to free up much-needed space. Yet my Lightroom catalog is still on my internal hard drive.
Now I want to create and edit images with new folders on (C:) my internal drive, yet still see the archived images on (E:) in Lightroom. Please, can you tell me how to do this?
Many thanks.
When you import the new images, set a folder on the C Drive as the destination. You can have as many different internal and external drives as you want. I have images on two internal drives and two external hard drives. It's all a matter of choosing where you want them imported. If you are filling the C drive so quickly, why not just import them to the external drive in the first place? Then it won't be necessary to move them later on.
