I was trying to purge my Camera Raw Cache settings, but accidentally clicked on the button to purge my Video Cache Settings. I immediately pressed "cancel" so it would stop purging the video cache, but now the screen has been stuck on the same page all night. I'm nervous to restart my computer with Lightroom still running in the back, but I don't know any other solution to get off of this page. Is it safe for me to restart my computer while Lightroom Classic is still open? It also won't quit when I press the "quit" button on the app, so I don't know what else to do in order to get off the frozen screen.

You'll have no choice but to 'force quit' Lightroom Classic. You can do this by click and hold on the Lightroom Classic icon in the dock. If you only see 'Quit', not 'Force Quit', then hold the Option key while you click and hold. A cache is temporary storage, so with a little luck nothing bad will happen. After Lightroom Classic has quit, open your catalog folder and look for a file 'catalogname.lrcat.lock'. If that file is present, then trash it.
