Watermark editing

Hi!

It would be great to have possibility to edit existing watermark presets.

What I mean:

At the moment when I change anything in any of my watermark presets I have to save it as a new preset.
I cannot just update existing preset and then save it. Every change, however small, makes new preset.

I must very often update some bits of information in my watermark presets and now, after few years I have lots and lots of presets, where I use only few of them but all the rest are just old unusable versions of those few and there is no option for deleting old versions of presets.

Hope you will find this idea interesting.

All the Best!

Leszek

You can update any preset in addition to saving it as a new preset.

One way is to use your OS file manager (Finder in MAC), bring up the folder they are in, and delete them.

Another way, bring up the watermark editor, select the watermark preset desired. Then select to delete it. Both done/found in the top left selector.

Allow me to refine the advice according to LR in my PC, which might be
useful for others:

"Next Scroll down to Lightroom Setting and then to the last folder named
Watermarks."

But in my case, unfortunately, when you click on Watermark, an empty
folder appears.

May be there are same other magic gesture to have my watermarks deleted.

Thank you very much. This evening, I've been browsing the LR settings for an hour, I don't know what happened, but the items "Delete preset" and "Rename preset" appeared to me only now. Miracle! I've tried many times before but without success.

I agree and would love to NOT HAVE TO rename a watermark everytime I change its location?

I scrolled down here and replies drifted to other issues but have NOT solved this issue.

Every photo is different and that requies adjusting the atermark's location a bit. Unfortunatly, everytime I mve the watermark just a bit to the right r left I need to re-name the file, why?

That cuases me to have many files and named watermakrs and anoyying to go and delete one by one. I am hoping in future updates for a much easier way to adjust existing watermarks, and easier way to edit and delete existing ones.

Thank you 🙂
