P: Add a popup warning "you need to save metadata to xmp"when you open as Smart Object in Photoshop

If you do not save metadata to xmp, and you try a Open as Smart Object in Photoshop, Snapshots are not available.

 

Request for Change

 

  • Add a popup warning stating metadata is not being saved to xmp, snapshots will not be available.

Why such a warning? I think that Earth Oliver's suggestion in that linked discussion is much better. Let Lightroom always automatically save to xmp if you open an image as smart object...
