Currently, in Lightroom Classic, there is no way to display a permanent grid overlay while working in the Develop module, except when cropping. This makes it difficult to precisely align or center radial filters, gradients, or other local adjustments.
I would like to request two improvements:
-
Permanent Grid Overlay – the ability to toggle on a compositional grid (rule of thirds, golden ratio, simple square grid, etc.) that stays visible in Develop mode, not only in Crop.
-
X–Y Coordinates for Masks – when positioning or resizing a radial filter (or other masks), it would be very helpful to see the exact X-Y coordinates (or pixel percentage values relative to the image). This would allow more precise placement, such as centering a radial filter perfectly.
These features would make Lightroom Classic much more efficient for users who need accurate local adjustments and precise composition control.
