P: Filter for Likes and Comments

Now that Adobe is committing to LR Mobile, it would be great if LR had better support for comments and likes:

- Ability to filter and search in smart collections for comments and likes. The Sort: Last Comment Time is helpful but not sufficient -- it only works with collections synced with LR Cloud, and you can only sort one collection at time (huh??).

- The same support for other publish services like Flickr that also sync user comments. Why did Adobe implement Last Comment Time and comment notifications just for LR Mobile? The underlying structure is already there to implement it for the other services as well. These other services have a diversity of features that many users find valuable and that are unlikely to ever appear in LR Mobile, so asking them to switch to LR Mobile just to get the trivial ability to sort by comment time is frustrating.

- SDK access to the comments and likes, so that plugins can manipulate that metadata just like they have the ability to manipulate other metadata. Just providing SDK access would let plugin developers provide the other functionality.

HI,

Okay, I'll check it out shortly in the mobile and desktop version. Been waiting for the like / comment feature to be in the mobile version for quite some time already. (5 years approx).

Let's see how it is shortly

Wow finally a filter for likes and comments, if you add a filter for "original or smartpreview" for the mobile version (I hope it will also get the like/comment filter) I can finally uninstall Lightroom CC Desktop.

Hello everyone,

The MAX release for Adobe Photography products includes an update addressing the requested feature.

If the update isn’t visible in your Creative Cloud app, refresh it using [Ctrl/Cmd] + [Alt/Opt] + [R].

Please note: It may take up to 24 hours for the update to appear.

Thank you for your continued patience.

Both of these features would be super useful and feel very absent for my money. I was able to make the album I wanted on the desktop version, select all those within that folder, and then add it to another regular Album to get the results I wanted, but having it on mobile would also be nice.

Btw thank you for fixing the rotate crop tool, that was driving me up a wall. Also loving the export with border tool, would love to see that on the desktop version alongaide a 3x4 option (they just added this to Instagram, for some reason 2x3 is still not A Thing)

Insane. Adobe - please take 1 minute to stop rolling out questionable AI features and add this basic functionality!

It's 2025 - how can this NOT be a feature yet??

I would be happy if the web interface could filter for comments and likes, that would be something I can use on Desktop and Mobile (so annoying this feature is only availabe on a Desktop).

Add filtering for Original or SmarPreview to the web interface and I can uninstall LR CC Desktop that I only have installed to be able to filter for these two.

Benjamin could you please explain how to access this? I am in Lightroom (cloud) on Mac - filter options I have are Capture Date, Import Date, Modified Date, File Name, Star Rating and Custom Order.  There is nothing on the web, AI tells me it does not exist.  If you are an Adobe employee please when you comment could you explain a bit more?  I have just copied 100 notifications to flag picks from three clients from 3,000 pictures it is a collosal waste of time.  Many thanks in advance, Alex.

A bump (agian) to have the ability to filter on comments / likes in LrC in a shared album Collection.
