Sorry if this has been discussed before.

What if there was an option in the "Export As A Catalog" function to have the export done in the previous version format? For example, "Export As A Catalog" folders or files that have been processed in LrC V 13.x in a format that can be Imported into LrC 12.x.

This would ease the problems of users who have already processed images in V13.x and because of bugs or whatever need to go back to V12.x.

@KR Seals Lightroom Classic 12 should still read Lightroom Classic 13 XMP files. It should just ignore what it doesn't recognise.

Thanks, Sean!

I will give that a try. I have never needed to go back a version myself, but I think that generally, all that would be needed would be what info is in the XMPs.

@KR Seals Collections, Flags and Virtual Copies aren't in XMP, but for VC's you could make a Snapshot and then make a new VC in the other catalog and apply the snapshot. Snapshots are stored across the master and copies.
