Feather Masks - ability to universally feather a mask selection in LR like photoshop. With a feather slider. The AI selctions are great but often need to be feathered this would speed up workflow greatly.

Greetings all,

A new update for the Adobe Photography products has been released. The August release (x.5) contains an update regarding this issue.   If you do not see the update in your Creative Cloud Application, you can refresh it by pressing [Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ].   Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your update to be available in your Creative Cloud app.

The feature is now available in Camera Raw, Lightroom for desktop, and Lightroom Classic.

Will be great that culling will include more subjects than people.

Could it also include birds and other animals, wildlife pictures to check the accuracy of the focus on the subject?

I agree also, this will help with speeding up the workflow and gives more flexibility.

It appears to me that many. times, when I do “Subject”, the mask is already feathered. The problem is that I have no control over it and there is no way to alter it.

PS has a lot of features with masking (selection) that would be great to have. The ability to expand or contract a mask by N pixels would be nice.
