P: Implement Hover Preview for History Steps & Snapshots.

I suggest to implement the ability to hover over  a History Step and/or Snapshot to preview them full screen.

This would be like the Hover Preview for Presets but for History Steps and Snapshots.

 

I understand this would a be an intensive task and could be slower than for presets but it would be still better than actually having to click/summon the History Step or Snapshot to view them full screen.

    In the feature summary you also don't mentioned that we can hover preview Snapshots as well (see screnshot below)

     

     

    Also you do not mention that a small delay has been added before showing the preview, same delay that has been in place for years when we hover preview Creative Profile.

    Yous should mention this before users report of preview slowdowns that are not really there.

     

    P.S.

    I find ironic this is at the very bottom of the list but to me is the best feature of LrC 13.

    Finally the full potential of history has been unleashed.

          Adobe Camera Raw already has this and allows to preview Snapshots full screen.

           

          • If Snapshots can be previewed then so can History steps.

           

          So basically LrC has been left behind.

          Fatures that LrC users could have today, and that would speed up the workflow tremendously, are not implemented.

           

          Everything that ACR can do is possible for LrC so this discrepancy makes very little sense.

           

          LrC users are missing this feature for no real technical reason.
