This is a request to implement a visibility enhancement for folders in the Library module which have been designated as "favorites."  Currently, when a parent folder is designated as a favorite and the Library filter is set to display Favorite Folders, the parent is displayed but it is impossible for the user to descend further into the parent's hierarchy.

The new capability would provide an option to designate and filter on favorite parent folders: i.e., when this attribute was set, the Library filter could display the parent folder with a triangle control at the left of the folder name, which when selected would reveal the contents of the parent folder (typically subfolders or perhaps files).  This behavior would provide a simple way for the user to restrict visibility in the Library Navigator panel to a subset of the folders at the top level of the directory hierarchy containing the images managed by Lightroom.
