Linking the autofocus points of the camera (from the metadata) with the 100% section in the "Details" category in the "Develop module" would be very helpful.

As the autofocus points are in almost all cases the image zone in which you are most likely to want to adjust the sharpness, when this zone is linked to the autofocus points, the most important image zone is displayed directly in the preview window for checking and you no longer have to scroll through the image for a long time.

I never understood that small 100% section window (and thus keep it closed). What is the advantage over zooming in the main view to 100%?

Ok, but...

... what you like to do or how should this feature be helpful to you? I have never missed anything like this in my years of working with LR.

Many thanks for the tip. But I meant exactly the linking of these AF points to the 100% preview in the "Details" module. (with the small section of the 100% view)
