P: Possibility to add more than one profile to an image

The new adaptive color profile offers a more subtle starting point compared to hitting "auto". However, what if you want to add a creative look using one of the provided color profiles?

I think Adobe should enable the possibility to pick more than one color profile (for example, "adaptive color profile" and "modern 09").

Maybe it would be more intuitive to add a button next to the current button "auto" called "adaptive auto" or something similar.

PS. A workaround is to export the image, reimport it and add a creative look on top of the basic edit. That is cumbersome, time-consuming and takes mor space on our HDDs.

There is no reason why applying more than one profile could not be made possible. It's not possible right now, but it could be possible if Adobe wanted to. Creative profiles are often based on LUTs, for example. There is no technical reason why adding a LUT on top of the new Adaptive profile would not be possible. And no, lightroom currently has no tools that can replace LUTs.

That's certainly a unique approach. However, I think it would be difficult to anticipate how one profile might affect another one. Of course, there would always be a preview. But applying multiple profiles is something that cannot be done in-camera. When taking images it is only possible to apply a single profile. Seems to me that the rest of the finishing process lies in one's skill in using other aspects of the available tools. Not arguing for the sake of an argument. I just don't see the practicality of trying to apply multiple profiles to the same image when there are so many other tools available.

Using color profiles for a creative look is way better in my opinion compared to presets.

Color profiles don't affect your sliders so they won't mess up your basic edit.

Have you considered trying applying a preset that has already been provided by Adobe or creating presets of your own and adding them on top of the profile?
