P: Retain Attributes When Creating Denoise DNG Files

I am writing to suggest an improvement to the workflow in Lightroom when using the AI-based noise reduction feature. Currently, when Lightroom creates a new DNG file during the noise reduction process, all attributes (such as flags, star ratings, and color labels) applied to the original file are not automatically retained. This forces me to manually reapply these attributes by switching back to the Library module, which disrupts my workflow.

It would be highly beneficial if Lightroom could automatically retain these attributes when generating the new DNG file. This would streamline the process and enhance the user experience, particularly for those of us who heavily rely on these attributes for organizing and managing our images.

Thank you for considering this suggestion, and I appreciate the continuous improvements you bring to Lightroom.

Thanks 🙂

I don't have Windows computer to check on, but on my macOS computers the flags, ratings and labels applied to original are automatically applied to the denoised DNG file.
