Allow disabling of auto-collapsing sidebar

While organizing photos into albums, it's exhausting to constantly have to re-open (by hand or with the P shortcut) the sidebar because Lightroom decides (for me) that it's taking too much real estate on the screen.

Please add a configuration setting to disable this disruptive behavior which may be a good default to unclutter the experience of most users, but becomes quite annoying when doing organization work.

Thanks.

Which version of Lightroom?

If you mean the cloud-centric Lightroom desktop app, Lightroom>Preferences>Interface tab>Set Panel Tracks to Manual.

If you mean Lightroom Classic, right-click on the thin panel bar and set to Manual.
